For the longest time, my weight varied between 185 in the best of times to 205 in the less-best-of-times.
In 2020, things got worse – and I’m guessing they got worse for you too. I gradually threw out my L t-shirts, and standardized on XLs for new ones.
Last year, I started realizing that even my XL shirts were tight, and I gritted my teeth and started buying XXL t-shirts instead. The final straw was our recent trip to Hong Kong and Shanghai, when my luggage was delayed. I had to go shopping for t-shirts to get by, and stores didn’t even have XXL sizes. Asian people just aren’t that big, evidently.
When I came home, I talked to my doctor about Ozempic and Wegovy. I’d heard about how these new weight loss drugs made the whole thing easy, and how they just worked.
Except they were $2,000-$3,000 per month.
If you could even get them, which we couldn’t, because they were sold out everywhere.
I did a lot of research, talked to multiple doctors, and ended up learning a bunch about semaglutides. Now, I’m paying less than $400/month, the weight is just falling off (about 4 pounds per week), I’m eating & drinking less than half of what I did, and … I haven’t actually had to make any compromises, and I don’t feel hungry. It just works.
I started a new 1-hour online course to share what I’ve learned. The first 100 folks who use coupon code FriendsOfBrent get 50% off. The coupon entry is here during the checkout process:
I hope you enjoy it, and if you’ve got any questions about it, please feel free to let me know! I can’t believe how easy it was, and I wish I would have started it sooner.
